Corban’s Master of Science in Education will allow you to experience classes with other teachers who understand the challenges and rewards of leading in today’s classrooms. Take your courses entirely online or add an endorsement through evening classes on campus. The Master of Science in Education is designed to fit into your busy schedule as a teacher and can be taken at a full-time or part-time pace.

You will learn from the experience, knowledge and questions of your colleagues as well as from professors who have years of hands-on classroom experience—and you can apply what you learn in your coursework right away in your classroom. Plus, choose from three concentrations to tailor your degree to your needs and schedule.
With part-time and full-time options for your master’s degree at Corban, you can take classes at a pace that fits your schedule and your budget. Many teachers qualify for tuition reimbursement or tuition assistance from their employer, or for federal grants and aid.

Curriculum and Instruction
Available entirely online, the Curriculum and Instruction track updates you on current research in the education field and explores relevant issues related to curriculum. Elective options give you the freedom to personalize your degree with courses in curriculum development and evaluation, assessment, technology in education, or content specific courses for secondary teachers.

The literacy track will equip you to develop effective literacy curriculum and programs for your classroom. Open a world of possibilities for your students by helping them excel in reading.
The literacy track meets the requirements set by TSPC for adding the Reading Intervention Specialist Endorsement to your Oregon Teaching License. The literacy track is offered in a hybrid of online and on-campus courses.
The ESOL track has been created to help you teach the diverse classrooms of Oregon schools. This track provides both theoretical background and practical understanding to enhance your ability to reach students of various cultural, socio-economic and language groups.
The ESOL track meets the requirements outlined by TSPC for the English Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement and can also be used for the English Speakers of Other Languages /Bilingual Endorsement.
